About

Clarissa Perez-Pecchio is a Venezuelan-American product design student at Parsons School of Design. Her practice aims to understand how objects establish relationships within a space and how human presence defines the balance or tension between them. The objects in her work use scale to influence our perception of space, determining how we interact with our environments and the objects within them.

Her work fosters the interaction between the viewer and the object, encouraging physical and intentional engagement with the surrounding space. Guided by the belief that design can promote awareness of space and self, her work encourages people to develop a more deliberate and lasting relationship with their surroundings and the objects that shape daily life.
